Visa Off Campus Drive 2025 Responsibilities

• To boost productivity and efficiency in test case creation, test coverage, test execution, problem detection, and reporting, develop and apply creative methods to create and implement scalable, reusable test automation frameworks and new test infrastructure, as well as enhance current test infrastructure.
• Strong programming abilities and a readiness to write code in a variety of languages, including databases (like IBM DB2), web technologies, microservices, mainframe-based programming languages (like REXX, Assembler, etc.), open-source object-oriented programming languages, and SQL queries, depending on departmental requirements
• Participate in every stage of the SDLC while developing test tools (test automation).
• Be prepared to investigate and utilise software for testing APIs, such as SOA suites, SOAP UIs, Postman, REST clients, etc.; software testing frameworks, such as Selenium; automation tools, such as Cucumber, JSON and XML Parsers, and TestNG; CI/CD using Jenkins or a similar tool; GitHub; and additional tools, such as JIRA, etc.
• Within Visa, Marshall uses industry-standard coding, design patterns, testing, and best practices.
• Assess new technologies proactively and gauge how well they are being incorporated into the company. Evaluate technology and tools through proof of concept to make sure they meet Visa’s requirements.

A description of the position

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or electronics, or a related technical degree, is necessary. It is advantageous to have an engineering master’s degree.
• Six to eighteen months of relevant work experience, or a comparable combination of project and work experience
• Experience with z/TPF (mainframe) and REXX application development will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of at least one open-source object-oriented programming language or technology, such as HTML, CSS, Web Technologies, C/C++, C#,.NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
• Understanding of development and test engineering processes and methodologies, including SDLC and STLC
• It will be preferred if candidates have experience with SOAP/XML, JSON, ISO 8583, and other message formats.
